Our service agreement and policies
Service Agreement
By booking our junk removal services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your junk removal needs
- Grant access to your property at the scheduled time
- Pay for services as agreed upon completion
- Communicate any special requirements or concerns
- Allow us to contact you via phone, text, or email regarding your service
- Ensure items to be removed are accessible and clearly identified
Our Commitment
We commit to:
- Arrive within the scheduled time window
- Provide upfront, transparent pricing before starting work
- Handle your items and property with care
- Properly dispose of, recycle, or donate items responsibly
- Carry appropriate insurance coverage
- Leave the area clean after removal (sweep up debris)
Items We Cannot Remove
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot remove:
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, pesticides)
- Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
- Medical waste or biohazards
- Propane tanks or compressed gas cylinders
- Ammunition or explosives
- Radioactive materials
- Items too heavy for two people to lift safely
For hazardous waste disposal, please contact your local waste management facility or the San Francisco Department of Environment.
Pricing & Payment
Our pricing policy:
- We provide a free, no-obligation quote before starting any work
- Pricing is based on volume (how much space items take in our truck)
- The quoted price includes labor, hauling, and disposal
- Payment is due upon completion of service
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, Zelle, and Venmo
Additional fees may apply for items requiring special handling (hot tubs, pianos) or difficult access (multiple flights of stairs). These will be discussed during the quote.
Liability and Insurance
SF Junk is fully insured. However:
- Report any property damage within 24 hours of service completion
- We are insured for accidental property damage during normal operations
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions
- Claims must be reported promptly with photos for investigation
- We are not responsible for items left behind after service

- Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda
- Daly City, South San Francisco
- San Mateo, Burlingame, Redwood City
- Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro
- And surrounding Bay Area communities
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment:
- Free cancellation with 24+ hours notice
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee
- No-shows may be charged a trip fee
We understand emergencies happen and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
